Tamar Gabunia Elected as Vice President of the Committee at the WHA

First Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Tamar Gabunia has been elected as Vice President of Committee A at the 75^th WHA. Committee reviews and approves reports and resolutions to be presented at the Assembly. Committee unites all member organizations of the WHO.

75^th WHA started on May 22. Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Zurab Azarashvili delivered a speech at the Assembly. 

The theme of this year’s Health Assembly is: Health for peace, peace for health.

During May 22-May 28, the delegates, partner organizations, representatives of Civil Society, WHO experts discuss current and future priorities of global public health agenda.
