
Zurab Azarashvili Makes a Speech at the WHA
Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Zurab Azarashvili delivered a speech at the 75th WHA in Geneva.
Zurab Azarashvili touched upon importance of increased accessibility to healthcare services in Georgia, planned and future projects in this direction.
According to the Minister, Government of Georgia remains strongly committed to provide the population with essential, life-saving medical services.
As stated by the Minister, positive health reforms that are currently undertaken in the country in line with the EU-Georgia Association agreement will lead to the desired outcomes in health and social protection fields.
Zurab Azarashvili expressed unwavering support to Ukraine in his speech at the WHA.
First Deputy Minister, Tamar Gabunia, Permanent Representative of Georgia to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, Alexander Maisuradze participate in official and working meetings together with Zurab Azarashvili.
