
Zurab Azarashvili Meets with Minister of Health of Armenia and Minister of Health of Kazakhstan in Geneva
Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Zurab Azarashvili met with Minister of Health of Armenia and Minister of Health of Kazakhstan in Geneva.
Long-term cooperation in healthcare field between Georgia and the Republic of Armenia was a topic of conversation during a bilateral meeting with Armenian colleague, Anahit Avanesyan. The participants of the meeting reflected on the themes of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of communicable and non-communicable diseases. They shared with each other experience regarding export/import, distribution, realization of pharmaceutical products. The conversation touched upon the theme of development of medical tourism between the two countries.
Existing cooperation in healthcare field and future plans were also discussed during a meeting with Kazakh colleague. Azhar Giniyat got interested in ongoing and planned healthcare reforms in Georgia. Prospects of development of partnership between Georgia and the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed during the meeting.
