Development of high mountain regions
The state's policy towards high mountainous regions is part of the country's regional development policy and is aimed at securing equal socio-economic development of the whole territory of Georgia and solving social and economic problems of people living in highlands. The purpose of this Law is to define the benefits of stimulating socio-economic progress of high mountain regions guaranteed by the Constitution of Georgia, ensuring the welfare of the people living in high mountainous areas, increasing living standards, promoting employment, improving social and economic conditions.
