The training courses of paramedics has started for the first time in Georgia
The training courses of paramedics has started. Highly trained specialists in the direction of emergency services will be sent for the high-prioritary emergency calls. The first day of the course took place at the National Training Center of the Ministry of Health. David Sergeenko, Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs, attended the opening ceremony with Avtandil Talakvadze, the Director of Emergency Situations Management and Coordination Center. The four-month course of emergency assistance includes theoretical and practical training. The participants will be certified in case of successful completion of the course. The graduates of all accredited Medical Universities will be able to take part in the courses after the reaching the required levels. It’s the first project of paramedics training in the South Caucasus and it aims to improve the quality of emergency situations control. The first flow of the course will be completed in 2018.
